VAA Booth | Melbourne Royal Show 2026

It's hard to believe that another year has passed and we are beginning to plan for one of the largest VAA events of the year, our annual booth at the Melbourne Royal Show.

DONATION PROGRAM: We welcome donations of honey and hive products. The Melbourne Royal Show is an opportunity to have your apiary business showcased to thousands of Show attendees who visit our booth every day. We will create a flyer that profiles your business with details on how to purchase products from you throughout the year.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED: Would you like to join a vibrant, creative and engaging organising committee to help us put on the best VAA booth at this year's show? Meetings will start in mid-July. We need individuals to help organise the products for sale, the training for booth volunteers, branding and signage for the booth as well as to help plan the education program for the show.

VAA Conference | Participant Survey Results

The VAA is committed to continuous improvement in our service to our members and the larger Victorian beekeeping community. The organising committee has already conducted a lessons learned meeting and planning for next year will begin in October. To the right is a snapshot of some of the key survey results from participants to the 2026 Annual Conference. In addition to these metrics, we received the following feedback on elements of the conference delivery itself. These scores represent the top two scores (Good and Excellent) in each category.

  • Venue & Conference Space Layout: 85%
  • Catering: 91%
  • Audio Visual: 96%
  • Trade Displays & Exhibitors: 81%
  • Parking: 40%

Here are a few of the verbatim comments from the survey:

  • "Excellent job to the VAA organising committee. Love your work. Thank you!"
  • Well done all on a terrific conference. I was highly impressed. I came for the headline speaker and loved everything else that I saw. The ambience, venue and food were all terrific.
  • As an interstate traveler, I could not have attended if it wasn't at the airport so it was perfect for me.
  • This year's 125th VAA Annual Conference was fantastic! I could not fault this conference. The organisers should be commended for running such a great event.
