Planning has started for the VAA’s annual presence at the Melbourne Royal Show. The Show is a great oppotunity to sell a wide range of authentic Victorian honey from our members' own apiaries. Did you know...between 30,000 and 50,000 people visit the Melbourne Royal Show every single day...and the Gourmet Pavilion - where the VAA has its booth - is one of the most popular destinations at the Show. We want to offer every visitor a wide range of delicious and unique honeys. Our booth in 2025 set a new record for sales and we aim to surpass that accomplishment in this year.  

We need your help!

We are reaching out to our members and industry partners to obtain your support in our efforts to stock the highest quality honey and hive products in our booth this year. Please contact us via the email addresses below by Friday 31th July if you're interested in collaborating with the VAA at the Melbourne Royal Show. 

Based on last year's sales, we need 2,000 to 2,500 kilos of honey. Here is a list of honey products that we need for the 2026 Show. We have different ways for you to participate and you can tailor your contribution in terms of size, format and product! 

• Mono-floral honey - in bulk - packed and labeled by VAA with VAA branding:

  Per Sponsor: Offerings starting at 50kgs
  
  
• Mono-floral or Garden/Bush honey
  Prepacked in 400g - 500g jars - with supplier labels/branding. These offerings are used in our  "We're Beekeepers" Trio Pack.

  Total: 900 to 1,000 Jars
  Per Sponsor: Minimum 6 Boxes/72 Jars 

• Specialty Honeys (Variable sizes/Formats)
• • Organic Honey (Tubs/jars)
  • Comb Honey (Square/Rectangular Packaging | ~300-500g each
  • Creamed Honey (Jars) 
  • Flavoured Honey (e.g. Chilli Honey, Strawberry Honey)
  • We are open to other suggestions and innovative product ideas!

• Multi-floral/Garden or Bush Honey for VAA Bundle Bags: Sponsor-packed and branded. Used for multi-honey show bags & children's bags. Formats and sizes are variable. Novelty packaging welcome (e.g. teddy bear jars)

Sponsor Benefits 

We want your participation in the VAA's Melbourne Show to drive sales at the show and throughout the year. Your brand's name will be included in all our marketing and promotions. We will also create a card that will be included with every purchase of your honey that has a description of your apiary, the flavour and aroma profile of your honey and where your honey can be purchased throughout the year.
